Smile becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of KIDS
A message from Caroline Stevens, Chief Executive at KIDS and Stephen Clarke Chairman at Smile:
On the 1st October 2017, Smile formally became a wholly owned subsidiary of KIDS and this new relationship demonstrates the commitment of both charities to work in partnership with each other to further enhance their charitable objectives. Both organisations have strengths on which to build; KIDS has a wealth of expertise, commitment and passion and Smile have a long track record of high quality specialist interventions and a purpose built high tech centre designed to the highest specification to meet the requirements of disabled children with a wide range of complex needs.
Caroline Stevens said: “I very much welcome Smile to the KIDS family. This is a great opportunity for both KIDS and Smile. It will enable us to expand and broaden the services we offer. Both organisations have key areas of expertise that complement each other and will enable us to deliver even more services for disabled children and their families.”
